NOT EVERY PIECE OF JEWELLERY
IS APPROPRIATE FOR EVERY MOOD
BUT WEARING A PIECE OF JEWELLERY
CAN STRONGLY INFLUENCE
A WOMAN`S MOOD.
Sooner or later, it surely arrives – that unique moment in life
when one simply must decide. Shall I continue along safe
and familiar paths? Or throw caution to the wind, follow my heart,
and invest all my love and passion to make my greatest dream come true?
Sooner or later, it surely arrives – that unique moment in life when one simply must decide. Shall I continue along safe and familiar paths? Or throw caution to the wind, follow my heart, and invest all my love and passion to make my greatest dream come true?
This moment came to Christina Rasmussen quite suddenly, practically overnight. This businesswoman established her own jewellery brand in February 2013. She had dreamt of doing so for many years, but had lacked the courage.
In this very special moment, she decided to listen only to her heart and to finally transform her tremendous passion into reality. It was the beginning of a new adventure and simultaneously the wonderful feeling of having arrived at long last.
Jewellery has always played an important role in her family. Her grandmother, a native of Idar-Oberstein, was an elegant lady who saved her money whenever possible so that she could occasionally treat herself to a piece of jewellery. The lady’s special favourites were the treasures carried by a jeweller from a little town in Italy, where Christina Rasmussen’s grandparents often spent their holidays. As a child, Christina’s heart would throb and her eyes would grow as big as saucers while she watched the charming Italian jeweller presenting his latest collection to her grandmother during his visits to Germany.
The sparkling of precious stones, the elegant gesture with which he laid a necklace around her grandmother’s neck, the expression on the lady’s face when she admired herself in her silver hand mirror: Christina Rasmussen was tremendously fascinating by this unforgettable spectacle and its intimately private atmosphere.
That’s probably also why this jewellery designer prefers not to display her treasures in jewellery stores, but chooses instead to show them at her little atelier in Böblingen or in her customers’ homes – far from the noise and hectic rush of daily life, wholly undisturbed, and catering entirely to her customer’s needs.
